In a row of 29 boys, Rajendra is at seventeenth position from the left and while Harendra is seventeenth from the right end. How many boys are there between Rajendra and Harendra?

The correct Answer is:
B
Rajendra.s rank from the left end `=17^(th)`. Harendra.s rank from the right end =`17^(th)`. So, Harendra. rank from the left end `=(29-17) + 1=13`. Rajendra.s rank from the right end `= (29-17) +1= 13`

So, Required number of boys between Rajendra and Harendra `=(17-13)-1= 4-1=3`
