Sonam.s rank after shifting four places from the right end `=18^(th)`. Anjuman.s rank from the left end `=15^(th)`.

So, Sonam.s rank from the right end before shifting `=(18+4)= 22^(nd)` [`because` Anjuman is 5th to the left of Sonam]. Therefore, total number of children in the row `=[(15+5)+22]-1= 41`
