If they interchange their places, Priyanka and Deepa occupy Seventeenth place from the right and eighteenth place from the left respectively. How many girls are there in the row?

The correct Answer is:
B
Before Interchanging : Priyanka.s rank from the right end `=9^(th)`. Deepa.s rank from the left end `=10^(th)`.
After Interchanging:
Priyanka.s rank from the right = `17^(th)`. Deepa.s rank from the left `=18^(th)`.

So, total no. of girls in a row `=(10+17)-1=26 or (9+18)-1= 26`
