Codominance It is the phenomenon in which two alleles express themselves independently when present logether in an organism.
For example, Coat colour in cattle. When a cattle with red coat is crossed with the cattle having white coat, the `f_1` hybrid will possess roan appearance. In such a case, the red and white hairs occur in patches, but no Intermediate colour of red and white. The ratio of such a cross is 1:2:1.
Inheritance of blood groups controlled by Igene in humans also follows codominance.
