If x,y,z are in GP, then prove that logx, logy, logz are in AP.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

If x,y,z are in GP than we can write `y/x=z/y`
Taking logarithm on both side we have, `logy/x = log z/y implies logy-logx = logz-logy`
which show that logx, logy, logz are in AP.
