Two trains 100 m long are moving opposite to each other with a speed of 50 m/s each. Find the time taken by the train to cross each other.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Total distance to be travelled `= 100 m + 100 m= 200 m `
Relative speed `= 50 + 50 = 100 m//s`
`t = D/v = 200/100 = ` 2 sec
