The correct Answer is:
B

Let money with Jitendra = Rs. x
Money with Rajendra = Rs. y
Money with Raja = Rs. z
Then, according to the question
`y - 40 = 1/2 z " " ....(i)`
`z - 40 = y " " .....(ii)`
` z - 40 = x + 40 " " ......(iii)`
Putting the value of y from (ii) in (i), we get
`(z – 40) – 40 = 1/2 z`
or, `z = 160 `
So, `y = z - 40 = 160 - 40 = 120`.
Then, putting the value of z in (iii), we get
`160-40= x +40 `
or, `x = 80`
Therefore, the total amount of money
`= Rs. (x + y + z)`
`= Rs. (80 + 120 + 160) `
`= Rs. 360`
