When Rajendra.s brother was born, let Rajendra.s father.s age = x and Rajendra.s mother.s age = y
According to the question
Rajendra.s sister.s age = `x - 28 = 4 .....(i)`
or, `x= 28 + 4 = 32 ... (ii) `
And Rajendra.s age `= y - 26`
Then, Rajendra.s brother. age
`= (y-26) + 3 = y - 23 ` [from (iii)]
or, `y = 23`
[ `because` when Rajendra.s brother was born, his age = 0 years]
So, `x = 32, y = 23 `
Therefore, father.s age = x = 32 years and mother.s age = y = 23 years.
