Biomass is organic material that comes from plants and animals, and it is a renewable source of energy. Some examples of biomass fuels are biogas, wood, crops and organic garbage. Following are some methods of harnessing biomass :
(i) Using firewood as fuel.
(ii) Using cow dung cakes as fuel.
(iii) Production of gobar gas.
