Receptors are present throughout our body organs or sense organs that transmit the information for the stimulus around us in form of nerve impulse to the brain that revert back the processed signal to the effector to react against changes around us. When receptors do not work properly, the receptors are not able to transmit nerve impulse and body does not respond to act.
