In each of the following questions, two rows of numbers are given. The resultant number in each row is to be worked out based on the following rules and the question below the rows of numbers are to be answered, the operation of numbers progresses from left to right :
Rules:
(i) If an odd number is followed by another composite odd number, they are to be multiplied.
(ii) If an even number is followed by odd number, they are to be added.
(Iii) If an odd number is followed by a number which is a perfect square, the even number is to be subtracted from the perfect square.
(iv) If an odd number is followed by a prime odd number, the first number is to be divided by the second number.
(v) If an odd number is followed by an even number, the second one is to be subtracted from the first one.

The correct Answer is:
A

Resultant of the first row =` R_1 =n`
Even Number Prime Number Prime odd Number

`= (58 +17) div 5 " "` [Applying (ii) and (iv)]
` = (75) div 5 = 15 `
So, `R_1 = n = 15`
Resultant of the second row = `R_2`

`= (85 div 5) 1xx5.` [Applying:(iv) and (i)]
`= 17 xx 15 = 255`
Therefore, the resultant of the second row `R_2 = 255`
