The scalar product of two vectors is `2 sqrt(3)` and the magnitude of their vector product is `2`. The angle between them is

Text Solution

The correct Answer is:
30

`vecA. vecB = | vecA || | vecB| cos theta = 2 sqrt3 ...(i) `
`| vecA xx vecB| = | vecA || vecB| sin theta = 2 ....(ii)`
Dividing equation (ii) by equation (ii) we get,
`tan theta = (2)/(2 sqrt3) = (1)/(sqrt3)`
`therefore theta = tan ^(-1) ((1)/(sqrt3)) = 30 ^(@)`
