The correct Answer is:
C

Amount = Rs. 8000
Time T = 4 yr, Principal amount, P = Rs. 6000
Simple interest , Sl = (A-P)
Amount - Principal
= 8000 - 6000 = Rs. 2000
Rate, R = ?
According to the formula,
` Sl = (P xx R xx T)/( 100) rArr 2000 = (6000 xx r xx 4)/( 100)`
`rArr R = (2000 xx 100)/( 6000 xx 4) = (25)/(3) %`
Now, again
Amount A Rs. 700
Promcipal amount, P = Rs. 525, Time, T = ?
Rate, R = `(25)/(3)% `
Simple interest ` = A - P rArr - 525 = Rs 175`
Using formula `Sl = (P xx R xx T)/( 100) `
`rArr 175 = (525 xx (25)/(3) xx T)/(100)`
`rArr T = (175 xx 100 xx 3)/(525 xx 25)`
