Let 1st number be 4x and 2nd number be 7 x
According to the questions
` = ( 4 x - 5)/( 7 x - 5) = (1)/(2)`
`rArr 8 x - 10 = 7 x - 5`
`:. x = 5`
` :.` Greater number `= 7 x = 7 x 5 = 35`
