Explain the functions of liver in the Regulation of blood sugar.

Regulation of blood sugar: Liver stores glucose in the form of glycogen after the intake of food. When there is no intake of food in human body, the liver supplies glucose in the blood by hydrolyzing the glycogen. Thus, glucose level in the blood is maintained throughout the day in our body.
