With respect to embryology, justify the pre diction that vertebrates are evolved from invertebrates.

Invertebrates mostly show external fertilization and oviparity. Some of them show etamorphosis during development. The lower vertebrates show almost the same features.
For example, amphibians. Some reptiles show oviparity and few show ovoviviparity that is a slightly advanced feature. Birds show internal fertilization and oviparity. Mammals are viviparous which is the most advanced feature in the embryonic development.
