The osmotic pressure is directly proportional to the concentration o f solutes. Our body fluid contains a number of solutes. On taking large amount of common salt, `Na^(o+)` and `Cl^(ө)` ions enter into the body fluid thereby raising the concentration of the solutes. As a results, osmotic pressure is increased which may rapture the blood cells.өө
