1) The roots that emerges from a place other than radicle are called adventitious roots. E.g: Climbing roots, velamen roots, respiratory roots etc.
2) Fibrous roots are adventitious roots which originate from the base of the stem and they are fibrous in appearance. E.g: Monocot plants.
