Distinguish between heterochromatin and euchromatin. Which of the two is transcriptionally active ?

In a typical nucleus, some regions of chromatin are loosely packed. and stained-lightly and are called euchromatin. The chromatin that is move densely packed and strains dark is called as Heterochromatin. Euchrontatin is transcriptionally active chromatin, whereas heterochromatin is inactive.
