i) Receptor : The medium which is affected by a pollutant is called receptor .
Ex : Eyes of drivers of two wheelers (or) four wheelers when they are stopped at signal centres .
ii) Sink : The medium which reacts with pollutants is called sink .
Ex : Sea water is a big sink for `CO_(2)`
