Left to right metallic character decreases
Reason : Effective nuclear charge increases / tendency to loose electrons decreases / electro positivity decreases
As we move from left to right in a period, the metallic character decreases as the size of an a tom also decreases and thus, the valence electrons are held tightly by the nucleus. So, it becomes hard to loose electrons resulting in decrease in metallic character.
