Let `theta` is the angle of projection of bullet .
Let the rifle be at O and traget at T.
As OT , is horiontal , range = 30 m .
`rArr ((u^(2))/(g)) sin 2 theta = 30 rArr 2 theta = 0.03`
As `sin 2 theta` in small , so take sin `2theta = 2theta`
`2 theta = 0.03 rArr theta = 0.015`

The initial speed of a bullet fired from a rifle is 630 m/s. . The rifle is fired at the centre of a target 700 m away at the same level as the target. How far above the centre of target, the rifle must be aimed in order to hit the target?

A bullet moving with a velocity of 30sqrt(2) ms^(-1) is fired into a fixed target. It penetrated into the target to the extent of s metres. If the same bullet is fired into a target of thickness (s)/(2) metres and of the same material with the same velocity, then the bullet comes out of the target with velocity

A bullet is fired on a fixed target. It penetrates inside the target through distance d = 3.75 cm and then stops. mass of the bullet is m = 1 kg and of the target is M = 4 kg . Now an identical bullet moving with the same velocity is fired on the identical target which is placed at rest on a frictionless horizontal surface. Then find the distance (in cm) to which the bullet will penetrate inside the target?

A bullet is fired on a fixed target. It penetrates inside the target through distance d = 4 cm and then stops, mass of bullet is m = 1kg and of target is M = 4kg .
