When a cell is charged by sending current into the cell, what will be the terminal potential difference of the cell.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Electric cell converts electrical energy into chemical energy, when current passes through it. While charging the cell, e.m.f. is less than the terminal voltage `(in lt v)` and the direction of current inside the cell is form +ve terminal to negative terminal.`v= epsi + ir`
