Equal number of nuclei of two radioactiv...

Equal number of nuclei of two radioactive materials A and B having decay constants `10 lambda and 2lambda` respectively tare taken. The ratio of the number of nuclei of A to that of B is found to be after a time t and the value of t is observed to be `1/(Plambda)`. Find the value of P.

The correct Answer is:
`08.00`

Since, `"N=N_re^(-lambdat)`
So,
`N_1=N_0e^(-10x) and N_2=N_0e^(-2lambdax)`
`implies 1/6=N_1/N_2=(N_0c^(-103s))/(N_g e^(-22i))`
`implies 1/c=e^(-s lambda t) implies e^(-1)=e^(-six)`
`implies 1=8 lambdatimpliest=1/(8lambda)`
