If the length of the simple pendulum is increased by 44% from its original length, calculate the percentage increase in time period of the pendulum.

Since `T prop sqrt(l)`
Therefore, `T="constant "sqrt(l)`
`(T_f)/(T_i)=sqrt((l+(44)/(100)l)/(l))=sqrt(1.44)=1.2`
Therefore, `T_f=1.2` `T_i=T_i+20%T_i`
