Given, `m_1=3kg`
`m_2=2kg, t=during 4th sec `
From the freebody diagram,…i
`T-3g+3a=0`……….i
`T-2g-2a=0`……….ii
eqaution i and ii we get
`3g-3=2g+2a`
`rarr a=g/5 m/sec^2

Distance travelled in 4th sec is given by
`S4th=a/2(2n-1)`
`((g/5))/2(2xx4-1)`
`(7g)/10=(7xx9.8)/0 m
Net mass m `=m_1-m_2=3-2=1kg` So, decrease in P.E. =mgh `
`1xx9.8xx(7/10)xx9.8=67.2=67J`
