A wave of wavelength 0.60 cm is produced in air and it travels at a speed of 300 ms^-1. Will it be audible?

From the relaton u=vlamda, the frequency of the wave is
`v=u/lamda=(300ms^1)/(0.60xx10^-2m)=50000Hz.`
This is much above the audible range. It is an ultrasonic wave and will not be audible.
