Calcuate the charge on each capacitor shown in figure

The two capacitors are joined in series. Their equivalent capacitance is given by `1/c= 1/C_1+1/c_2`
or `C=C_1C_2/C_1+C_2=(10muF) (20miF)/30miF=20/3muF`.
The charge supplied by the battery is
`Q=CV`
`=(20/3muF)(30 V) =200muC`.
In series combination, each capacitor has equal charge and this charge equals the charge supplied by the battery. Thus, each capactor has a charge of `200muC`.
