What are the values of the self induced emf in the circuit of the previous problem at the times indicated therein?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

(a) For first case at t=100ms,(di)/(dt)=0.27V`
Induced emf`=L(di)/(dt)=1xx0.27=0.27 V.`
(b) for the second case at t=200ms
`(di)/(dt)=0.036`
Induced emf=L(di)/(dt)=1xx0.036`
(c ) For the third case at t=1 sec,`
`(di)/(dt)=4.1xx10^(-9)V`
`Induced emf=L(di)/(dt)==4.1xx10^(-9)V`
0.036V.
