A triode valve has amplification factor ...

A triode valve has amplification factor 21 and dynamic plate resistance `10 kOmega`. This is used as an amplifier with a load of `20 kOmega`. Find the gain factor of the amplifier.

The gain factor of a triode value amplifier is `A = (mu)/(1 + r_p/R_L)`
where `mu` is the amplification factor, `r_p` is the plate resistance and `R_L` is the load resistance. Thus,
`A = 21/(1 + (10 kOmega)/(20 kOmega) = 14`.
