How will you infer with the help of an experiment that the same current flows through every part of the circuit containing three resistances in series connected to a battery ?

(i)Join three resistors of different values in series. Connect them with a battery, an ammeter and a plug key. (ii) Plug the key. Note the ammeter reading. (iii) Change the position of ammeter to anywhere reading each time. We do not find any change in the value of current through the ammeter. Hence, the same current flows through every part of the circuit containing three resistors in series connected to a battery.
