The correct Answer is:
D

The given information can be represented as folows.

a + b + c + d + e + f + g = 350
Using I alone, d + e + f = 65
g = 45
`therefore a + b + c = 240`.
I alone is not sufficient to find the number of persons who can speak Hindi.
Using II along
a + d + g + f = 140 and c + e + g + f = 140
`therefore` II alone is also not sufficient.
Combining both,
Exactly one + 2 Exactly two + 3 Exactly three = n (English) + n (Hindi) + n (Telugu).
240 + 2(65) + 3(45) = 140 + 140 + n (Hindi)
Number of residents who speak Hindi = 225.
`therefore` Both I and II are required.
