Find sum of stereoisomer of following compound.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
`a -2^5, b - 2^5, c-2^7 + 2^3, d-2^9`

`(a) 2^5 implies 32 " " (b) 2^5 implies 32`
`(c) a = 2^(n -1) = 2(8 -1) = 2^7 = 128, " " m = 2^((n//2-1)) = 2^((4 - 1)) = 2^3 = 8`
Total S.I. `implies 2^7 + 2^3 = 128 + 8 = 136`
(d) `2^9 = 512`
Summing up all stereoisomer : `underset((a))(32)+underset((b))(32)+underset((c))((128+ 8))+ underset((d))(512) = 712 `
