Where can we feel the pulse?

What do you mean by arterial pulse ? Where can it be felt ? What is tachycardia ?

If we touch a piece of steel and wood on a winter day we feel that the steel is colder than wood .if we touch the steel and the wood on summer day we feel that steel is hotter than wood why?
