The correct Answer is:
A

We know from the condition of wheatstone bridge that
`(R_(1))/(R_(3)) =(R_(2))/(R_(4))`
We have to find `R_(4)` such that bridge is balanced
`(4Omega)/(6Omega) =(6Omega)/(R_(4)) rArr R_(4) = 9Omega`
Adding a resistance R in parallel to `10Omega` resistance to get `R_(4) =9Omega`
`(1)/(R_(4)) =(1)/(R ) +(1)/(10Omega)`
`(1)/(9Omega) =(1)/(R ) +(1)/(10Omega)`
`(1)/(R ) =(1)/(9) -(1)/(10) =(10-9)/(90) =(1)/(90)`
`or R=90Omega`
