Mr. Dupont is a professional tea taster. When given a high grade tea, he will identify it with probability 0.9 correctly as high grade and will mistake it for a low grade tea with probability 0.1. When given a low grade tea, he will identify it with probability 0.8 correctly as low grade tea and will mistake it for a high grade tea with probability 0.2. Suppose that Mr. Dupont is given ten unlabelled cups of tea, three with high grade and sevenwith low grade tea. He randomly picks a cup, tries the tea and solemnly says high grade tea. Find the probability that the tea he tasted was low grade tea.

Neelam has offered physics, chemistry and mathematics in Class XII. She estimates that her probabilities of receiving a grade A in these courses are 0.2, 0.3 and 0.9 respectively. Find the probabilities that Neelam receives (i) all A grades (ii) no A grade (iii) exactly 2 A grades.

A student can attain grades A,B,C or D. Find the probability that the student can get at least B grade, if the probability of getting grade A is 0.20, grade B is 0.40, grade C is 0.30 and grade D is 0.10.
