`2N HCI` solution will have the same molar concentration as a

A

`4.0N H_(2)SO_(4)`

B

`0.5N H_(2)SO_(4)`

C

`1N H_(2)SO_(4)`

D

`2N H_(2)SO_(4)`

The correct Answer is:
A

From the relation
`("Normality")/("Molarity")=("Molecular mass")/("Equivalent mass")=n`
For 2 NHCl
Molarity = `("Normality "xx" Equivalent weight")/("Molecular weight")`
Molarity = `(2xx36.5)/(36.5)=2`
For `4 N H_(2)SO_(4)`
Molarity = `("Normality "xx" Equivalent weight")/("Molecular weight")`
Molarity = `(4xx49)/(98)=2`
Hence `4 NH_(2)SO_(4)` and 2 NHCl solution will have same molar concentration.
