Shaving soaps contain glycerol to prevent rapid drying. While preparing this soaps, a gum called rosin is added to them. It forms sodium rosinate which lathers well. Laundary soaps contain fillers like sodium rosinate, sodium silicate, borax and sodium carbonate.
Trisodium polyphosphate is an important filler added to detergent powders and liquid detergents.
