In glycolytic pathway which of the following steps shows reduction of co-enzyme

A

1, 3-diphosphoglycerate to 3-phosphoglycerate

B

Glucose 6-phosphate to fructose 6-phosphate

The correct Answer is:
C

Glyceraldehydes 3 Phosphate or 3 Phospho glyceraldehydes is converted into 1, 3 bisphosphoglycerate. During this conversion NAD + is converted to `NADH+ H^(+)` i.e. two redox equivalent are removed from PGAL and transferred to a molecule of `NAD^(+)` . PGAL is oxidize and with inorganic phosphate to get converted into bis phosphoglyceraldehyde by diphosphoglyceraldehyde dehydrogenase.
