The correct Answer is:
A

In prokaryotes there are three initation factor :-
`IF_(1)` Participate the interaction between `IF_(2)` and initiator t-RNA
`IF_(2)`- Binds the initiator f-net tRNA and carries it to the ribosome in response to first AUG codon
`IF_(3)`- It binds to the 30 S ribosomal subunit and is required for its binding to the mRNA starting site.

The codon for the initiation of protein synthesis in eukaryotes is :

How is protein synthesis initiated in a cell.

Assertion :- In prokaryotes, control of the rate of transcriptional initiation is the predominant site for control of gene expression. Reason : The regulatory protein can act both positively (activators) & negatively (repressors)
