* Tasar Silk:- It is obtained from oak feeding larva of the silk moth.
* Muga Silk:- It is produced in Assam. It is golden yellow in colour and superior to taser silk in gloss and other qualities.
* Eri or Arundi silk:- It is produced in Bengal, Bihar an Assam. The eri silkworms feed on castor leaves.
