We have a chargeable battery of emf 12 V and internal resistance of 1 Omega The battery can take a maximum of 20 A current during the charging process. If we have a charger, which can maintain a potential difference of 60 V, then what resistance is needed to be connected in series with the charger to charge the given battery ? what terminal potential difference do you expect across the terminal of battery being charged ?
