What is a semiconductor ? Mention the two main types of semiconductor.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Solids which have conductivity inbetween those of conductors and insulator , i.e., ranging from `10^(-6)` to `10^4 "ohm"^(-1) m^(-1)` are called semiconductors. The two main types are n-type and p-type.
