(a) An endothermicreaction `A rarr B` proceeds to completion . Predict the sign of `DeltaS`.
(b) What will be the sign of `DeltaS` for the reaction `: N_(2)(g) + O_(2)(g) rarr 2NO(g)` ?
Given reasons in support of your answer.

The correct Answer is:
(a)Since it is feasible , so `DeltaG` is-ve. As it is endothermic `DeltaH ` is `+ve`.Hence for `DeltaG`to be `-ve, DeltaS` must be`+ve` . (b) `DeltaS`is `-ve` because there are two different reactant while there is only one product.
