How will you purify a liquid having non-volatile impurities ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Simple distillation will give us the pure liquid while the non-volatile impurities will remain in the flask as residue. For example, sea water containing non-volatile impurities of chlorides and sulphates of Na, K, Ca and Mg can be purified by simple distillation.
