We are given that triple point of neon, `T=24.57K` and triple point of carbon dixode, `T'=216.55K`. Let the corresponding temperature on the celsius and Fehrenheit scales to be `t_(C) and t_(C)'`, and `t_(F) and t_(F)'`, respectively
Clearly, `t_(C)=T-273.15`
`=24.57-273.15=-248.58^(@)C`
and `t_(C)'=T'-273.15=216.55-273.15=-56.60^(@)C`
further, `t_(F)=(9)/(5)t_(C)+32=(9)/(5)(-248.58)+32=-447.44+32=-415.44^(@)F`
and `t_(F)'=(9)/(5)t_(C)+32=(9)/(5)(-56.60)+32`
`=-101.88+32`
`=-69.88^(@)C`
