There are two Cu spheres having same size. One of them is hollow and the other one is solid. Which will expand more if
(i) they are heated through same temperature range.
(ii) they are supplied with same amount of heat.

The increase in volume of an object depends on its total volume occupied, not the actual volume of the material used to form the object. ltBrgt `DeltaV=VgammaDeltaT`
Here, V is `(4)/(3)pir^(3)` for a sphere, be it hollow or solid.
(i) For heating through same temperature range, `DeltaT` is same
`impliesDeltaV` will also be same.
(ii) For same amount of heat, hollow sphere will experience a greater rise in temperature so, it will expand more.
