The correct Answer is:
C

Kala - azar is a slow progressive indigenous disease caused by a protozoan parasite leishmania and spread by the bite of certain types of vector in sandflies. Sandflies takes a blood meal from the patient of kala-azar and injects its macrophages infected with amastigotes. In the midgut of sandfly, these amastigotes get transformed into promastigotes and migrate to proboscis. Amastigotes again get transferred into the skin of host (non-infected person) at the time of blood sucking.

The human body knows that smoking is injurious to health; therefore, it tries to counter it at the start. That is why coughing, sore throat, nausea and other negative feelings are aroused in the body when a person tries to smoke the first time.
