Formation of a conical bulge called regeneration blastema or bud, below the newly formed epidermal cover so that the epidermis starts bulging during the regeneration of limp of salamander. A number of evidences have supported that the initotically proliferating cells in a regenerating limb are derived by a regressive process called transformation or dedifferentiation of specialised or fully differentiated cells of the skin, muscles, bones, etc.
