As per hardy-weinberg equilibrium, the frequency of dominant and recessive alleles in a population will remain costant from generation to generation provided that certain conditions exist,i.e. population should be large, mating should be random, no mutation occurs, no natural selection occurs, generations do not overlap and thereo is no immigration or emigration or gene flow between populations, etc.
